Though I wonder if there was a licensing issue with Postscript that made other vendors decide against it, too. I have a HP office printer, it made a claim that you could simply print a PDF file presented to it via the USB-A port on the front of it. But I discovered that *ONLY* if you created that PDF on their own special software, first.
