For the record, the results of my experiments:

1.
Waydroid

is an Android emulator for Wayland. In F40 it is installable via dnf.

After initialization I was able to run it and it seems to be quite responsive. Unfortunately, EERO app cannot be installed because "this application is not compatible with your device".

Both Google and PlayStore authentications are stored in the emulator and the subsequent starts do not require repeated operations.

2.
Android emulator My Android 1.2.1

is an extension to Chrome browser. After installation it runs in a Chrome tab. It is rather sluggish, the start time is around 30 sec. After Google and PlayStore authentication I was able to install EERO app and it ran albeit slowly and awkwardly.

The OS itself is a little square in the centre of the window the size of a cellphone surrounded on all sides by intrusive ads mostly for Temu. Any click in the emulated OS generates a new ad first and only after its dismissal the desired screen appears. VERY annoying.

Unfortunately I was not able to figure out (if it's even possible) how to save al the changes to the running emulation so the subsequent restart wipes out everything and one ends with the virgin version of the extension again. All authentications and app installation must be done again which is an opportunity to display numerous annoying Temu ads.

3.
QEMU/KVM

I downloaded open Android version 9 and ran it in a VM. It runs perfectly. I could install EERO without any problems and all functionality is there. It is very fast, the responses are almost instantaneous.

This is the solution I am sticking with.

Cheers
Frank
