totem does not play movies.
totem complains that it cannot initialize openGL support.
Correction: could not initialise openGL support
I've installed pretty much everything I can think of,
including *opengl* , *openGL* and *mesa* .
No go.
Firefox can play local movies.
Maybe a codec issue? Try 'mediainfo' on the file and possibly install
any missing codecs from RPMfusion.
$ mediainfo chloe*.MOV | grep -i codec
Codec ID : qt 0000.00 (qt )
Format/Info : Advanced Video Codec
Codec ID : avc1
Codec ID/Info : Advanced Video Coding
Codec configuration box : avcC
Format/Info : Advanced Audio Codec Low Complexity
Codec ID : mp4a-40-2
Codec ID : mebx
Codec ID : mebx
Codec ID : mebx
I've not gotten anywhere searching for any of these.
Strange that firefox can play it, but totem cannot.
