Fedora 39: PackageKid and dnf cache

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Update are managed from PK and packages are stored in its cache [1].

If I want update from line command only some package with dnf, same
packages are download again in its cache [2]

To use the same packages already downloaded from PK, I must first
search for the file if it has already been downloaded, then use it by
specifying its path, otherwise dnf dumps it back into its cache.

Is it possible to merge the cache of PackageKit [1] and dnf cache [2]
into one?
At least the rpm file cache ?

Many thanks

[2] /var/cache/dnf/
