I should have checked before making a comment like that. I don't know
about the vlc thing, but this change was coordinated. There is just a
timing difference between rpmfusion and fedora repos.
The vlc thing is much more than a timing issue.
Fedora's vlc "new" packaging is widely incompatible to RPMFusion's and
breaks existing installations.
