I doubt anyone here will be able to help if you don't provide error messages that usually a system provides when things go wrong. So "man journalctl" might help ... Plus: To shut down a more or less frozen system maybe look for sysrq keys. Extra fine: 'powerconf' et al. is shutting down my machine like a command similar to a 'shutdown -h now' - I have this in /etc/acpi/events/powerconf; ------------------- # ACPID config to power down machine if powerbutton is pressed, but only if # no gnome-power-manager is running event=button/power.* action=/etc/acpi/actions/power.sh ----------------- .. see more in /etc/acpi/ if you have it. -- _______________________________________________ users mailing list -- users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to users-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Do not reply to spam, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/new_issue
