Thanks very much! It more or less put me on the right track. After a perceived clean exit of WebEx:

So, now when I do a

$ killall /opt/Webex/bin/CiscoCollabHost

the problem goes away temporarily, till the next cycle of WebEx being shut down.

Not quite sure why a clean exit keeps these things hanging or what a LT fix could be. Any ideas?

Many thanks and best wishes,
Ranjan
That's almost certainly an issue to bring up with WebEx. If there is any way to send feedback or open a ticket with your WebEx account, please do.

I had to stop using the Linux WebEx client because it's so buggy. Instead, I use WebEx through Firefox on Linux. I am a technical trainer, and I teach using WebEx, so it's a real bummer. WebEx support has been somewhat helpful, but they just don't have Linux experts on staff, so they're sort of hobbled.

Try it through your browser. I used to have issues using WebEx via Chrome, but it's been a long time since I tried. It might have cleared up with newer versions of Chrome. But Firefox has been very solid, and I am on WebEx 9 or more hours/day, 3-5 days/week.
