The font used in Konsole is set in the Profile.
From the menu choose Settings/Manage Profiles...
Pick the default profile (if you have more then one).
Choose Edit... Look in the Appearance section.
The font that is used is show at the bottom of the "Colour scheme & font" tab.
In my setup the default profiles can't be edited/viewed (see the attachment, the edit option is grayed out). Anyway I created a new one that I suppose it is cloned by the default one. The value for font is "DejaVu Mono" as system wide. I switched to the new profile and still the characters are not displayed. I have also tried with other font families without any lucky. Other suggestions? Walter --
