If the firmware isn't on the LVFS[1] then you might be able to deploy the update onto the drive using "sudo fwupdtool install-blob foo.bin" -- you'll have to extract the *correct* binary blob from the windows archive (e.g. cabextract) but I know a few people that have done this successfully.
