A web browser can internally cache results, and will sometimes get stuck with cached data that requires you to restart the browser to purge it. You could try querying some likely sub-domains to see if you get any answer (www.slashdot.org, mail.slashdot.org, etc). -- NB: All unexpected mail to my mailbox is automatically deleted.
