Thanks Greg, I followed all the steps in the link except for the
multimedia groupupdate step as that introduced a conflict with an
already installed bluetooth package that dnf wouldn't let me uninstall
because the uninstall would have uninstalled Gnome Shell.
Having gone through everything they haven't made any difference to the
issue.
