Similar folder usage. NB: I make minimal use of Thunderbird, so I can only offer general- purpose advice. I don't like it, and it doesn't like me. I use Evolution mainly, and Thunderbird occasionally on an old Mac, and even more rarely try it on Linux to help test something. I keep my inbox fairly empty, like a pending in tray. I've noticed many mail clients don't like a full inbox, and since it's usually the first thing they load it's worth keeping its content down. On mailing lists folders I do have one with 41,806 messages in it. Ones like that can take some time to process when the cache is out of date, but a mere fraction as long as you mentioned. -- uname -rsvp Linux 3.10.0-1160.76.1.el7.x86_64 #1 SMP Wed Aug 10 16:21:17 UTC 2022 x86_64 Boilerplate: All unexpected mail to my mailbox is automatically deleted. I will only get to see the messages that are posted to the mailing list. _______________________________________________ users mailing list -- users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to users-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Do not reply to spam, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/new_issue
