Btw, all persons that I know of and who use Fedora have recently had this problem with WebEx.

I feel there is more risk in installing clients from various unvetted sources.  But I really was more thinking of convenience, it is a lot less trouble to maintain, and I've found the screen sharing options are usually better from (chrome browser, at least) than the options in the native apps.
