Frequently, in the past few months, Suspend is failing.
Video goes off, but fan keeps running and system state LED stays solid
rather than blink (normal behavior in suspend).
I have to hold down the power button until the system turns off and
restart the system and restart all that I had running.
And at times Suspend works just fine. The latest failure was this
morning. Mostly when I get this, I can restart, then after all the apps
auto reopen, I can then suspend. But not this time. It failed again.
I had to cycle again, but this time I quit from Firefox, with all its
open tasks, and things worked.
Now here is what I got from the failure (from /var/log/messages)

Apr 18 10:16:18 lx140e kernel: Filesystems sync: 0.028 seconds
Seems that the filesystem will not sync and the suspend hangs. I have
no other information. But I am thinking, that MAYBE zram is involved
with Firefox eating up all memory and swap is going to zram and then the
failure?
Right now I am seeing:
[root@lx140e log]# free
total used free shared buff/cache
available
Mem: 15625528 3989228 9757812 29312 1878488 11271992
Swap: 25165816 0 25165816
[root@lx140e log]# zramctl
NAME ALGORITHM DISKSIZE DATA COMPR TOTAL STREAMS MOUNTPOINT
/dev/zram0 lzo-rle 8G 4K 80B 12K 4 [SWAP]
But then I just resumed my system and have not done much of anything
since that earlier boot. I will watch zram before suspending again, but
I would like any thoughts on why this is happening?
SIgh.
