Hi,

I am having problem installing a printer for a friend.
It is a new F35 install and the printer is a Samsung ML-1640 connected via USB.
The installation via CUPS seems good but if I try the "Test Page" nothing happens and "journalctl -u cups -e "

The driver is Samsung_ML-1640_Series.ppd  and I copied "rastertospl" in the filter dir but it seems it doesn't get to that point.

Where did you get the ppd file from and rastertospl?  Make sure that rastertospl is executable and has all the libraries it needs.

Both extracted from the file uld_V1.00.39_01.17.tar.gz downloaded from

But the error seems to be from a different filter "gstoraster".
I'll check that when I have access again but I traid ldd on both on my machine (another recent F35) and it was OK.
