You could try some of these suggestions. I don't think it looks good.

It's not quite as bad as that since the disk didn't fail. But there are
some suggestions of tools to use. ddrescue won't be necessary, since
you're not trying to make an image of a failed drive.
The first tool you should try is "extundelete".
