You need to provide more information. I don't have any problem with
it. However, you must not have updated for quite a while because F32
is EOL and there have been no updates for a while. You really should
upgrade to a newer version.
If you click on Edit->Account Settings, and then click on Server Setting
under your account name in the list on the left hand side, under the
Message Storage section there is a text box that holds the local
directory location for your mail file data. Just check that location is
where your mail data is and if not click on the browse button to
navigate to where your mail data is. The update may have reset that
location, but given that I am using a later upstream version I not
completely sure what version 78 is doing.

PS. I downgraded thunderbird and the downgraded version is 68: french
langpack, enigmail do not work with TB 68
A downgrade will get the version that was part of the initial F32
release. If you want a newer one, you can get it from Koji:
