For instance, sometimes it's useful to use a non-US-based engine (like Baidu or Metagen) or one that is focused on social media (like socialmention) or curated like Wolfram alpha. Scientific searches, are a different animal, of course. If you are interested, I wrote a little tool for my own use that will search in variations on 27 engines. I'm assuming that it's not allowed to post html code here, so I'll just point to my page: https://www.billoblog.com/multisearch.html Note that this is for my personal use, and so it's clunky, and there are no guarantees. Also, if you choose one of the multipage search options, you have to turn off popup blocking. Finally, if you do multipage searches, the last page duplicates, and I can't figure out why. If anybody wants to look at the html code and tell me, I'd appreciate it. I have a similar tool for medical literature, but on a different server. I'll throw it up there if you are interested. billo _______________________________________________ users mailing list -- users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to users-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
