The hardware shipping in computers now bears little resemblance to what X11 was designed for and there's only so many times you can layer hack-on-hack before the whole thing becomes an unmaintainable chaotic mess. Before you start throwing insults around perhaps you should learn about the underlying architecture choices of X11 and Wayland.
