I was trying to figure out details of how snaps work, but didn't get far. Generally they just seem like lighter weight containers (or maybe more like a system where all the containers are based on the same underlying distro) - and that's a good thing. The apps I'm using are auto-updating and that makes me a bit nervous, as I'm not sure when it's updating and how that affects things - it seems to keep two copies of each, and then use the latest. I'd like to try out a web server and other apps to have better security on my "home" server. I don't see any apache snaps. -- Patrick _______________________________________________ users mailing list -- users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to users-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
