The sequence:
1. System booted from f30 Live Image on USB stick.
2. System "froze". The CPU fan got load, suggesting that the CPU was
stuck in a tight loop.
3. I pushed the tower button for a hard shutdown.
4. After about a minute, I pushed the tower button to power up.
5. BIOS displayed a warning that the CPU is hot (I don't recall the
exact wording).
By the way, this workstation was not purchased whole. It's a DYI that I
did around March 2013. Only the hard drive has since been replaced.
The main thing I think would like different in my next system is 8k true
retina display that is Rec. 2100 compliant. I would want to buy 1-2
years after such a display becomes available. Right now, I'm not even
close to being able to afford to get something equivalent to what I
already have.
