what's interesting about this problem is that it only happens on a new Dell server system. Everything used to work just fine until some update introduced the problem. I have a Dell laptop running F30 and I don't see the problem on that system.

What works for me is to click on the right mouse button (I use openbox WM) and then the pointer works.
I have not this issue with two other laptops and one desktop workstation (all Dells).
