Or am I doing something wrong, has any one else had this problem?
Using an existing gmail account I was unable to get the T-Bird
supplied by Fedora to authenticate
and use it.
I downloaded the latest T-Bird from Mozilla and had no problems to
use the existing gmail with it.
Additionally, the T-Bird from Fedora didn't recognize that I had
configured the account.
Suggest you file a BZ.
Oh, well. I went ahead and submitted
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1772731
.
Good, it took me this long to download, unpack, install, configure, and
determine that Thunderbird 68.2.2 did work with Gmail as you said it
did, then I had to create my Fastmail.us account to get this message to
respond to. And Mpzilla version does work while the Fedora verssions do
not. I'll add to your BZ in the morning.
Thanks for the help,
Bob
