If you have an Android phone on the same wifi network as your Fedora system
running GNOME, you can use this: https://wiki.gnome.org/Apps/GeoclueShare

GNOME does try this, although in my experience it's sometimes frustrating.
(All Delta Air Lines wifi hotspots it thinks are in US/Central.)
