The answer is very simple.

kernel 5.1.12 is being removed.  Remember, by default only 3 kernels are kept.   kmod-wl-5.1.12 belongs to that kernel.  So, it is being removed.

When the new kernel 5.1.17 is installed a corresponding kmod-wl-5.1.17 will be built and installed.

So, everything is *fine* and you can upgrade.

I just figured it out.  I did this 1st thing in the morning before my pot of good Twinings Keeman tea was brewed.

Mine isn't being removed since this was a new install and I only have 2 kernels.
