The list might be useful. Unfortunately, it doesn't show the reasons for the removals. Did you not see that it was going to remove all those packages before you told dnf to go ahead?
I don't have ssmtp installed and I have google-chrome-stable installed, so it definitely isn't a direct dependency. But I think I know why. Do you have sendmail or postfix installed? All those packages probably require a mail sending program and you removed the one that is installed by default. If I try to remove postfix, then dnf says it will remove chrome as well.
