This is correct, from CentOS7/MATE, the menu item System/Preferences/Personal/About me allows assigning an image to your "profile". The image turns to be stored as ~/.face. Here I've set a 89x100 PNG file but I don't know exactly what is possible. The greeter shows it as expected. Regards, -- wwp
