Btw, one thing that does not seem to work is to switch the tablet to portait mode when it is held long edge on the side. Is it possible to get this to work. Let me know if my question is not clear.
There are reports of systems randomly switching orientation. This also happens with other OS's when
the display is nearly horizontal so "top" is not reliably determined by the sensor. To avoid this, there is
an "orientation-lock" option. You could try "gsettings set org.gnome.settings-
daemon.peripherals.touchscreen orientation-lock false".
Otherwise, at first impressions, things work fine (though I have not tried everything yet).
