Maybe better to ask on the Fedora KDE list?

BTW the kf5-* rpms are generally pretty small. There are a lot of them
because it's highly modular.

Personally I use KDE because I like the general interface more than
Gnome (and am too lazy to rejigger everything for Mate or LXDE or
whatever), but I don't use many of the apps. My email client is
Evolution, my browsers are mainly Chrome and Firefox (though right now
I really like Opera, despite it being non-free), etc. etc.
