more than three options. Either
"-A" or (more inclusive) "-a" should
be relevant.

I tried: # gnome-disks --block-device
/dev/sdd
I had asked about smartctl but it was
suggested that gnome-disks might be
easier to use and I was responding to that.
I agree that smartctl has an extensive
man page,
