i'm sure there's a simple answer to this, but i'm digging around in systemd-coredump, and while the file /usr/lib/sysctl.d/50-coredump.conf contains: kernel.core_pattern=|/usr/lib/systemd/systemd-coredump %p %u %g %s %t %e the file /proc/sys/kernel/core_pattern still contains: |/usr/libexec/abrt-hook-ccpp %s %c %p %u %g %t %P %I am i missing something here? is there a precedence/ordering issue, or have i forgotten to start some relevant systemd service? rday -- ======================================================================== Robert P.
