But I am certainly not doing development or admin on Linux--I'm just using the OS for general computing purposes--word processing, news downloads, Google maps, numerical conversions (Convertall), general information (Google), photo download and manipulation, DXMap, and the occasional relatively simple drafting operation (DraftSight). I have _almost_ forsaken Windows; I only use it for audio recording and OCR, since in my opinion Linux isn't there yet. --doug
