That's not the right firmware.  Look further down the page.  You want
the 7265D firmware which is included in Fedora and you have it installed.

Ok, looking over the page again, I see what you did. You were actually referring to the .tgz file on that page. That firmware is old. The firmware package included in Fedora has that version and also newer ones, including the 22 version that got loaded.

I was somewhat wrong about the kernel message. On that page, it mentions the 7265 Dual Band, but you have the 3165 Dual-link. However, it appears that those are equivalent in this case.
