If not, what is the path-of-least-resistance for building a new(er)
kernel? I can google as well as anybody but if there's a definitive

Hi!I've had a similar problem since Kernel 4.6.7 where any external screenwould not be detected. It now only occurs only with my TV. In thoseinstances where I want to use the TV I use Kernel 4.5.5.
