Re: resolution restricted after dnf update

I tried all three available kernels - to no effect.

Once monitor was conected the the VGA port, the other connected via a VGA 
adaptor to the DVI port.

The odd thing is that once I swapped them over, the resolution problem went 
away.

Not only that, but although the login screen appeared on the wrong screen - as 
expected - once I was logged in, the primary screen was in the right place, 
and the mouse moves between them screens properly despite me not changing 
anything.

hay ho. It's fixed anyway
