All my intel > problems started when the 4.6 kernel showed up. The machine at home (hamster) was having other issues. The CPU had a bad core in it. I punted and just bought a new machine (with an nVidia GTX950). Put in my old hard drive, futzed with a few things and got it up (serious problems with polkit, but the old computer had crashed ugly and corrupted bits and pieces of the filesystem). Haven't had a chance to play with an old kernel here yet. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- - Rick Stevens, Systems Engineer, AllDigital ricks@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx - - AIM/Skype: therps2 ICQ: 226437340 Yahoo: origrps2 - - - - Politicians are the opposite of pickpockets because you never see - - them take their hand out of your pocket. - - -- Larry Fine - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- -- users mailing list users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe or change subscription options: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/admin/lists/users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: http://fedoraproject.org/code-of-conduct Guidelines: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines Have a question?
