It just updated the metadata for the repos. No need to delete it
because it will just download it again next time dnf runs. The command
you ran would show you info on a package named "flash" which doesn't
exist. The actual package name is "flash-plugin", but as you found out,
it's not in any of the usual repositories. A better command would have
been "dnf search flash". That will look in package names and
descriptions for "flash". Assuming you are the same person that posted
that you have flash working now, if you run that now, you should find
the package you installed.
