I went to download F3 from https://spins.fedoraproject.org/en/ (using Opera 35.0 under F23) and everything I got turned out to be Live CDs (except for being larger than any CD I have). I don't mean to hesitate. I want a real full install. What am I doing wrong??
Nothing. There aren't any full install images for desktop any more. Boot one of the ones you downloaded and do "install to disk" from the desktop. It downloads all the stuff over the network. I agree it's not ideal for those with either slow networks or limited use but that's what they've done. If you want something close to the old mechanism, use "Fedora Server": https://download.fedoraproject.org/pub/fedora/linux/releases/23/Server/x86_64/iso/Fedora-Server-DVD-x86_64-23.iso ---------------------------------------------------------------------- - Rick Stevens, Systems Engineer, AllDigital ricks@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx - - AIM/Skype: therps2 ICQ: 226437340 Yahoo: origrps2 - - - - 500: Internal Fortune Cookie Error - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- -- users mailing list users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe or change subscription options: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/users Fedora Code of Conduct: http://fedoraproject.org/code-of-conduct Guidelines: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines Have a question?
