And I wonder what the fuss has been about, sorry. All that has happened is that a particular software did not get updated for broken dependencies. It is not that the software got installed and broke because of these uninstalled dependencies. At the same time, one could perhaps improve the setup to push. Perhaps use scripting from the dnf output and then check for dependencies that way and make sure that they are being pushed (of course, do this in an automated manner). I don't think it is particularly easy to do because one has to think through the possibilities but not insurmountable. Like all OSS projects, Fedora is evolving and something like that will eventually come along, I guess. It will be faster if someone volunteers (even though my travails with packing pdf-stapler -- lots of people to provide comments authoritatively, none to actually sponsor -- point otherwise).
