It took about 2 and a half hours for me. Then I had to fix the breakage. *** If you have the nVIDIA kmod stuff installed from rpmforge, uninstall before you upgrade. It is a lot less painful than rebuilding initrd on the command line. (Which I have done before, but not for the squeamish.) Actually I would remove ALL the kmod packages before the upgrade. *** There are a bunch of Perl modules that need to be rebuilt. A bunch of mono cruft. I don't remember what else.
