I did not witness the Mac effort, I was doing something she wanted me
to read.
One thing I see is that installing Fedora from the live spin leaves a
bunch of /dev's. That's how I got to /dev/sdh apparently.
The Live spins are usually run off of un-re-writeable media, so all the
dynamic
device detection cannot be written into /dev.
Ergo, the problem you are/were having.
If you had inserted the SD card into a normal fedora
installation on a hard drive, you might not have had
this headache :)
I guess I need to find how to remove them, they show up on the desktop
display too, an annoyance but I just left them alone. I usually prefer
to keep it empty.
My effort is aimed at putting the F-21 workstation on the Raspberry
Pi. F-21 Minimal worked ok but it had no "x". A long story I won't go
into here.
