OK,
so now you need to do the dd thing for the 12GB device also.
Once you do that, then pull out the device
and reinsert it to see of it is still being detected as 2 devices.
Be sure it is not mounted after you insert it.
Not sure how to deal with this, my best guess is to use gparted to
move all the space into one.
[root@box10 /]# fdisk -l /dev/sdf
Disk /dev/sdf: 14.9 GiB, 15931539456 bytes, 31116288 sectors
Units: sectors of 1 * 512 = 512 bytes
Sector size (logical/physical): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
I/O size (minimum/optimal): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
[root@box10 /]# fdisk -l /dev/sdh
Disk /dev/sdh: 3.7 GiB, 3906453504 bytes, 7629792 sectors
Units: sectors of 1 * 512 = 512 bytes
Sector size (logical/physical): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
I/O size (minimum/optimal): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
I have never before encountered this treatment of an SD card
by Fedora.
Did you run dd on both devices?
Also, does the MAC machine also detect the
SD card as 2 different devices?
