Go to http://en.kioskea.net/faq/7263-firefox-how-to-change-language-settings and follow "Method 2" to install the appropriate language pack.
Then make sure your locale is set correctly....

The langpack xpi's seem to be present already in a regular "yum" install
of firefox:
[kp@localhost ~]$ rpm -ql firefox |grep langpack-fr
/usr/lib64/firefox/langpacks/langpack-fr@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
