You laptop does have antennas, but they're probably something unremarkable buried inside the lid. There is a chance that the network card is accessible from the bottom of the laptop, and has a standard fitting, that might allow you to dangle a better antenna lead through the chassis. Messy, but doable, if you had the need to continuously deal with problem WiFi.
