First of all....   For log files the :N indicates which display the log file belongs to.

I would check ssh into the system to see if some vnc processes are still running.

ps -eaf | grep -i vnc

/usr/bin/Xvnc :1    would be display 1 and I would run....

vncserver -kill :1  on it and any other vnc displays which may be active.  

I would then delete the *log files and restart the with

vncserver

You should see something like.....

[egreshko@f20f .vnc]$ vncserver

New 'f20f.greshko.com:1 (egreshko)' desktop is f20f.greshko.com:1

Starting applications specified in /home/egreshko/.vnc/xstartup
Log file is /home/egreshko/.vnc/f20f.greshko.com:1.log

And there should be no errors in the log file....  It should be quite small initially. 

-rw-rw-r--. 1 egreshko egreshko 2699 Feb 27 19:05 f20f.greshko.com:1.log
