I guess that solves the OPs problem. That said, I never understand why the yum upgrade path is never recommended. In all these years of using the dvd, preupgrade, fedup, I have never found a more reliable upgrade tool than yum (and probably dnf for future Fedoras). -- Suvayu Open source is the future.
