Everyone,

I have an HP 2000-2a22NR notebook with an hdmi interface with a new
install of fc19. The hdmi video works perfectly, but I am unable to get
the sound to the hdmi interface. When I activate 'sound settings' I am
able to see sound output device that is labeled +ACI

Speakers - Built-in Audio

I do not see an hdmi interface option on this screen

When i use aplay -i I get the following results :

+AD4 +ACoAKgAqACo List of PLAYBACK Hardware Devices +ACoAKgAqACo
+AD4 card 0: Generic +AFs-HD-Audio Generic+AF0, device 3: HDMI 0 +AFs-HDMI 0+AF0
+AD4 Subdevices: 1/1
+AD4 Subdevice +ACM-0: subdevice +ACM-0
+AD4 card 1: Generic+AF8-1 +AFs-HD-Audio Generic+AF0, device 0: ALC269VC Analog +AFs-ALC269VC Analog+AF0
+AD4 Subdevices: 1/1
+AD4 Subdevice +ACM-0: subdevice +ACM-0

I have another fresh install of F19 on a Toshiba Satellite C55-A5249 and
the hdmi video and sound work perfectly.

On the Toshiba there is an hdmi sound option present on the 'sound
settings' screen, and the results of aplay - are :

+AD4 +ACoAKgAqACo List of PLAYBACK Hardware Devices +ACoAKgAqACo
+AD4 card 0: PCH +AFs-HDA Intel PCH+AF0, device 0: ALC269VB Analog +AFs-ALC269VB Analog+AF0
+AD4 Subdevices: 1/1
+AD4 Subdevice +ACM-0: subdevice +ACM-0
+AD4 card 0: PCH +AFs-HDA Intel PCH+AF0, device 3: HDMI 0 +AFs-HDMI 0+AF0
+AD4 Subdevices: 1/1
+AD4 Subdevice +ACM-0: subdevice +ACM-0
+AD4

I would sure like to get the HP to work as well as the Toshiba. If any
of you any ideas I would appreciate your help.
Thanks,

Greg Ennis

I have still not been able to get the hdmi interface to become active.
the results of lspci reveal :

+AD4 Audio device: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. +AFs-AMD/ATI+AF0 Wrestler HDMI Audio

If any of you can help me find ua driver for this that will work I
greatly appreciate your help.
