However, (probably because doing the install in the small hours of the night) I forgot to disable swap. So after upgrading, I found that it started raining disk-errors. Ruled out any mem-problems, and started testing. The amount of disk-blocks that could be used reliable dropped very quick. In three years time from "new" towards "brick" So, ssd's are fast&reliable but only for write-seldom purposes. - keep as many as possible filesystems RO (atime off) or in mem - do logging remote - bulk data / often changing parts, like homes or mail on HDD.
