Liked this:-) While I don't quite understand the rationale behind this new installer (started in F18), the installer itself is a hit-or-miss. Sometimes, after a lot of cursing, I have been successful, later coming back after months, I have been at sea. Trouble is that even when it has worked, I have not always been sure how i got wherever. There are some radio-buttons and if you click the correct ones in the correct but seemingly arbitrary order, you can get there. Many of these icons are hard to see, harder to understand. And since no one has access to installation notes when installing (it has been suggested a requirement of having two machines -- reminds me of that now-retired well-minted sage who did not, in the mid-90s, think it was a problem that his commercial OS was requiring so much resources, because of course they should get a newer machine), what would be helpful is clearer instructions such as a bubble when mousing over. This already exists (the information part, not the clearer or useful part). Btw, what was the need for this obtuse installer? The old one was perfect: could that not have been improved upon for whatever was missing? But on the other hand, something named anaconda should perhaps have justified its name in the first place, something which it appears to have finally achieved.....for that, the developers, whose work I am very grateful for, need to be given some leave for feeling some satisfaction!
