Did you file any bug reports? It has been obsoleted in Rawhide
You don't really need to run Rawhide to check that. repoquery does the job just fine and yes, it appears to be fixed in Rawhide. Next time, when you do run into any unnecessary dependencies, please do file a bug report. User mailing list isn't the best place.
